Bay Area loci are no strangers to atmospheric and weather peculiarities (be them blankets of rolling fog, crystal-blue spring skies, or the occasional orange sky produced from byproducts of the climate crisis). There’s something gorgeous around every corner of this maddening prepossessing slice of Northern California. Sometimes it’s as easy as looking up — or outward to the skyline, for that matter — to behold a captivating Bay Area view.

Wednesday’s glorious sundown painted San Francisco and its surrounding cities in deep oranges, rich reds, and soft purples, making for compelling panoramas. And ICYMI: A litany of snaps framing yesterday’s hyperlocal sunset flooded social media…
